Victory Gardens Theater's Casting Auction is a one-of-a-kind special event with a unique theatrical flair. Each year, VGT selects a Broadway blockbuster and, through both live and silent auctions, sells more than 50 lead, supporting, chorus, and cameo roles from the show to the highest bidder. This year, participants will bid their way to play the colorful characters in the hit Broadway musical Anything Goes! No experience - or talent! - necessary: just the itch to be on stage and the desire to support Victory Gardens Theater. The winners of each role make up the cast and play their parts in fully-staged performances, February 12 & 13, 2010 under the direction of VGT's Artistic Director Dennis Zacek!
